June has been quite a life changing month for me personally. I dived head first into different worlds through the aid of 9 books, I've learned to appreciate the little things In life.

This month, whilst in the stunning city of Bangalore,I have had so much time to myself, to improve myself, to educate myself and it has brought the most fruitful rewards. I honestly believe, that time invested in yourself is the most rewarding and best type of investment a person can make. Every single person in this world has time to invest in themselves. Every single person in this world has the time to improve themselves, to become better people. Every single person in this world has the ability to pursue his dreams, build upon their talents and reach their destinies. I can tell you now, there are people reading this post thinking;
'I don't have time for all of this',
'I have kids therefore I can't do anything in life',
'I work all the time, how do I do this?'
Instead of talking about how you can't or you don't have the time do anything in life, how about instead of waking up at 7am, you wake up at 6.30. Instead of sleeping at 9, you sleep at 9.30. All you need is a half hour in a 24 hour day. Instead of sitting on your phone playing games or watching TV dedicate yourself 30 minutes to just you. Once your child is asleep or away at school, devote some time to yourself.

Whether you read a book, take a long walk, take a bubble bath, meditate in silence- Just take 30 minutes a day to enhance yourself as a person or just to relax and disconnect from the world. We desperately need that energy, time and space to unlock the potential that we have.
It's our responsibilities as adults to constantly try to improve ourselves as human beings. I believe whichever Almighty being that you trust in, has made a path for each of us to follow. Sometimes we need these investments so we can see what our dreams are, to realise what we want in life, to figure out if we are happy or not.
My personal favourite time investment is by Nurturing my Mind. (Not that I don't enjoy the occasional spa time in a jacuzzi and in the relaxation rooms of the 5* hotel i am in right now!)
Here are three ways you can invest time in yourself !
1. Read a Book.
I'll admit, three years ago- I really was not a fan of reading. Now, in the month of June alone, I've managed to read 7 books. Reading has been proven scientifically to reduce stress, allowing you to relax. So for all of you out there, that feel like you have way too many things going in life, and feel like you are about to burst- pick up a book.
Another benefit is that by reading, your knowledge expands. Especially through personal development books! These genres of books are now my personal favourite. They educate you so much about life. Like many of you, at first I used to think Personal Development books were a whole load of mumbo-jumbo. But after meeting a group of girls who showed me the value of reading them, I learned that the only way to improve the quality of my life, was investing my time in them, so I can unlock the potential I have to make my dreams come true and to become a better human being.

2. Invest Time to your Creative Side
Being creative allows us to tap into the potential we haven't used or didn't know existed. Creativity doesn't necessarily just mean one thing- there are so many different ways to use this to your personal and professional use. For example;
1. Try your hand out in Writing- Whether it be short stories or books.
2. Drawing- if you can't draw (like me) try doodling. Practice makes perfect
3. Cooking- if you love cooking or know nothing about it and make horrible food- get a culinary book or watch videos online and try cooking different cuisines. You may find a passion here!
4. Try Gardening- go to a store and buy whatever you need to, and experiment by growing your own herbs, fruit and veg.
5. Pick up a hobby or learn to play a new sport!

3. Have a Bucket List
A brilliant way to invest time in yourself, is by making a bucket list. I have three different ones; Travel, Random & Food. (Yes, I have a separate bucket list full of food that I want to try in the world e.g. Delhi street food, New York Pizza in New York, Seafood in Australia. I have the show Man V Food to thank for this!)
Take a piece of paper and make a list of all the things you want to do in life. Keep it in your diary or hang it on your cupboard door and try to knock of as many as you can. I guarantee that one by one when you knock them off, the feeling is incredible!

"The best investment YOU can ever make is spending time, taking care of YOURSELF"
When you invest time in yourself spiritually, physically and emotionally, you will become the finest version of yourself and I can guarantee that.
If you liked this post or you managed to devote some time for yourself, then leave a message in the comments! I'd love to know if this post made a difference to anybody.
